Hiding Business name, Tagline and Address from header graphic

Question:

I don’t want my Business Name and Address displayed on top of the Header Graphic

Answer:

No problem – just toggle the little checkbox in the Smallbiz Options Panel to hide the text.

There is no SEO disadvantage in doing so. Search engines will still have access to your header information.

Question:

I don’t have or don’t want the Phone, Street, City, State & Zip – but I do want my Business name and Tag line

Answer:

The easiest solution is to create a custom header with your desired information and hiding the entire header text display section – see above.

If you decide to leave the address blank, you’ll notice commas if you don’t enter a Street, City, Zip. This has to with the fact that our header is fully h-card compliant, plus we are trying not to “clutter-up” the options panel with too many checkboxes.

You will need to edit the Header.php file to remove the commas.

1) Log into WordPress

2) In the left Sidebar – Click on “Appearance” -> “Editor”

3) In the right Sidebar – Click on “Header” (header.php)

4) Scroll down towards the lower third and remove the commas.
